Dr. Sriram Jayabal is a postdoctoral research associate in the Department of Neurobiology at the Stanford University. He received his Bachelor of Technology in Biotechnology in India, and moved to McGill University in Canada to pursue his PhD. At McGill, he studied the cerebellar pathophysiology that underlies the manifestation and progression of SCA6 under the supervision of Dr. Alanna Watt. His current postdoctoral work in the Raymond lab focuses on understanding how neurons in the cerebellum processes information to effect appropriate movements.
